Football Recap: Wood-Ridge Piles Up the Points Against Lyndhurst

After only 12 points in their last match, Wood-Ridge made sure to put some points up on the board against Lyndhurst on Wednesday. The Blue Devils simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Golden Bears 33-6. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Blue Devils' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Lia Russo was nothing short of spectacular: she rushed for 63 yards and one touchdown, and also picked up 41 receiving yards. She got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 50 yards.

Wood-Ridge now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Lyndhurst, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
