Lakewood Ranch extended their postseason success on Friday against Palmetto Ridge. They put the hurt on the Palmetto Ridge Bears with a sharp 5-0 victory. Considering the Mustangs have won 12 contests by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Palmetto Ridge with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Olivia Hadad (3), Aubrey Mau, and Savannah Adams.

Lakewood Ranch's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-4-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those four matchups. As for Palmetto Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-5-1.

Coming up, Lakewood Ranch will square off against East Lake at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. East Lake knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Lakewood Ranch likes a good challenge. Palmetto Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
