Baseball Recap: Gresham Comes Up Short

Gresham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Reynolds Raiders. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Gophers have suffered since April 7th.

Gresham's defeat dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Reynolds, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-14.

While Gresham had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
