Volleyball Game Preview: Sprayberry Yellow Jackets vs. Fellowship Christian Paladins

The Sprayberry Yellow Jackets will challenge the Fellowship Christian Paladins at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Sprayberry came up short against Creekview on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Yellow Jackets have struggled against the Grizzlies recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-9, 25-15.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Fellowship Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against Mount Vernon by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Paladins as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

Fellowship Christian easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-20.

Fellowship Christian's win came from a few key players Sprayberry will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Makenzie Sellers, who had ten digs and five assists. Those ten digs gave her a new career-high.

Fellowship Christian's victory bumped their record up to 28-11. As for Sprayberry, their loss dropped their record down to 7-12.
