Basketball Recap: Gianna Flynn's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Atlantic Christian over Pleasantville

Atlantic Christian was the 57-36 winner over Pleasantville when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Atlantic Christian Cougars fell 58-45 to the Pleasantville Greyhounds on Friday. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Cougars players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Gianna Flynn, who posted 22 points and seven boards. Taylor Sutton was another key player, putting up eight points and 11 rebounds.

Atlantic Christian now has a losing record at 8-9-1. As for Pleasantville, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.

Coming up, Atlantic Christian will square off against Coventry Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pleasantville, they will face off against The Pilgrim Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
