Basketball Recap: Coastal Homeschool Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Coastal HomeSchool hasn't had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They walked away with a 51-44 win over the Bible Baptist Christian Wolves on Thursday.

Rae HeidtHarris had an outrageously good game as she dropped a double-double on 21 points and 16 boards. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Annabel Sanchez, who posted 16 points and four steals.

Coastal HomeSchool smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 30 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Coastal HomeSchool's victory ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-13. As for Bible Baptist Christian, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-6.

Coastal HomeSchool has already played their next match, a 69-37 loss against Alleluia Community on the 18th. As for Bible Baptist Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 52-49 win against Heritage Christian Academy on the 17th.
