Basketball Recap: Banks Extends Winning Streak to 13

Banks came tearing into Monday's game with 12 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 45-32 win over the Yamhill-Carlton Tigers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 67-50 back in January.

Banks' victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-3. As for Yamhill-Carlton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-5.

Banks and Yamhill-Carlton should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Oregon Rankings. Banks will challenge Neah-Kah-Nie at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday up 79 places (18 vs. 97). Similarly, Yamhill-Carlton (ranked 41st) will meet Rainier (ranked 140th) at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
