Reese Price Delivers Best Effort of Season

On Friday, Wren got the W thanks in part to Reese Price playing the best football he has all season. Price rushed for 206 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.6 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he has now rushed for 107 or more in the last four games he's played dating back to last season.

For the year, Price has run in 9 touchdowns while averaging 137.6 rushing yards per game.

A Season-Best Performance from Colten Bagwell Leads Wren over Fountain Inn

On Friday, Wren got the W thanks in part to Colten Bagwell playing the best football he has all season. Bagwell threw for 166 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushed for 44 yards and a touchdown.

Fountain Inn's probably not too fond of Bagwell given he always seems to get the better of them. When Bagwell last faced the Fury back in September of 2023, he rushed for 44 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 93 yards and two touchdowns on perfect 6-for-6 passing.

Will Thompson Puts an End to Laurens' Losing Streak on Friday

Laurens's seven-game losing streak dating back to last season is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to Will Thompson. Nobody could stop Thompson on Friday as he rushed for 16 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 129 yards on ten of 16 attempts.

Laurens' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. Thompson and Laurens will head out on the road to challenge Wren at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
