Bonneville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 46-28 bruising from the Hillcrest Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bees of the 42-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.

Despite the loss, Bonneville still got an impressive performance from Brock Faulkner, who threw for 264 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.6 yards per attempt, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Titan Larsen helped Sweetwood out on the ground, rushing for 56 yards and two touchdowns.

Bonneville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Hillcrest, they pushed their record up to 1-1 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Bonneville will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Idaho Falls at 7:00 p.m. on September 20th.
