Walnut Hills came tearing into Monday's match with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 42-37 W against the Seton Saints. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Despite the loss, Seton had strong showings from Annie Busam, who went 5-for-8 on her way to 14 points, and Kaitlyn Hess, who posted five points and five boards. Busam continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Lauren Bain was another key player, putting up three points.

Walnut Hills' win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.7 points over those games. As for Seton, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-7.

Walnut Hills and Seton are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. We've got a battle between Eagles coming up. As for Seton, they will challenge Oak Hills at 7:30 p.m. on February 19th.
