Carson put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Spanish Springs Cougars with a sharp 10-4 win. Considering the Colts have won six matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Isabella Campos tossed a big game, pitching six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. That's the fewest hits she has allowed since back in April of 2024.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ashannalee Titialii, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 4-for-4. What's more, she posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in May of 2024. Ruby Grajeda was another key player, scoring two runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Carson was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .433. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Spanish Springs only posted a batting average of .208.

Carson's victory bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Spanish Springs, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-4-1.

Carson has already played their next contest, an 11-3 win against Reed on the 22nd. As for Spanish Springs, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 9-1 victory against Basic on the 22nd.
