Baseball Recap: Burns Takes a Loss

Burns lost against La Grande back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hilanders took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Hilanders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Burns' loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for La Grande, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Burns will welcome McLoughlin at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pioneers will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Hilanders surely won't give up without a fight. As for La Grande, they will host Ontario at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. La Grande is facing Ontario at the right time seeing as Ontario is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
