After losing to Halifax Academy the last time they met, Faith Christian decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Faith Christian Patriots walked away with a 69-59 victory over the Halifax Academy Vikings on Tuesday. That's two games straight that the Patriots have won by exactly ten points.

Faith Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was MATT PRIDGEN, who posted 24 points. The team also got some help courtesy of JOSH PARKER, who had 17 points.

Loss or not, Halifax Academy got some senior leadership from Landon Peoples and Jacob Crawford. Peoples scored 20 points in addition to seven boards and three steals, while Crawford went 6 for 11 to rack up 15 points. That was a full 33.9% of Halifax Academy's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Thad Harris was another key player, putting up six points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Faith Christian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-12 record this season. As for Halifax Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 14 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.

Faith Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 68-25 defeat against Harrells Christian Academy on the 7th. Halifax Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
