Oshkosh West came tearing into Friday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 57-49 victory over the Appleton North Lightning. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 55-44 back in December of 2024.

Oshkosh West's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Appleton North, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Kimberly the next time they take the court. Oshkosh West will head out to face Kimberly at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Appleton North will host them at 7:00 p.m. on February 7th.
