Basketball Recap: Nooksack Valley Takes a Loss

Nooksack Valley lost against Ferndale back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Nooksack Valley Pioneers took a 55-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ferndale Golden Eagles. The Pioneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nooksack Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Ferndale, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nooksack Valley will be home for the holidays to greet Mount Vernon at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Nooksack Valley is facing Mount Vernon at the right time seeing as Mount Vernon is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Ferndale, they will be playing at home against Marysville-Pilchuck at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Ferndale will also cruise into their next match with the timing on their side: Marysville-Pilchuck will have lost six straight heading into Monday's game.
