Baseball Recap: Stillman Valley Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Stillman Valley's offense. They came up short against the North Boone Vikings on Thursday, falling 15-0. The Cardinals haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Stillman Valley's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for North Boone, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stillman Valley will host Oregon at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Cardinals are facing the Hawks at the right time seeing as the Hawks are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for North Boone, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Hinckley-Big Rock at 10:00 a.m.
