Basketball Game Preview: West Brunswick Trojans vs. New Hanover Wildcats

West Brunswick hasn't had much luck against New Hanover recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The West Brunswick Trojans will take on the New Hanover Wildcats at 8:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as West Brunswick comes in on four and New Hanover on 16.

Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, West Brunswick beat North Brunswick 59-53.

Meanwhile, New Hanover made easy work of Kinston on Saturday and carried off a 79-56 win. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matchups by 22 points or more this season.

New Hanover pushed their record up to 20-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28.1 points. As for West Brunswick, their win bumped their record up to 13-9.

West Brunswick was taken down by New Hanover 79-45 when the teams last played last Thursday. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point West Brunswick was down 61-21.
