Softball Recap: General McLane Lancers vs. Seneca Bobcats

General McLane was the 16-1 winner over Seneca when they last played one another back in April of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Lancers fell just short of the Bobcats by a score of 5-4 on Wednesday. The Lancers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Avery Lorah was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two doubles. Those doubles marked the first that she has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Makayla Rapela, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

General McLane's loss dropped their record down to 2-11-1. As for Seneca, they pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.
