Orange Beach waltzed into their contest on Thursday with 18 straight wins... but they left with 19. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Coral Springs Charter Panthers. The two-run effort marked the Makos' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

MK McMullan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one earned run in eight consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Orange Beach's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Daigle Wilson, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI Wilson has posted over her last 14 matches.
