Delaware Academy hadn't done well against Bainbridge-Guilford recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Bulldogs came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bobcats, sneaking past 5-4. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered a 4-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Kinsely Tracey looked comfortable as she tossed two innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Leah Dennis, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more hits the last three times she's played.

Delaware Academy has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 11.5 runs this season. As for Bainbridge-Guilford, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, Delaware Academy and Bainbridge-Guilford will both be playing Greene the next time they take the field. The Bobcats will head out to face the Trojans at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Bulldogs will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on the 15th.
