Grant Park not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 23rd (when they won 14-4). Everything went their way against the St. Anne Cardinals as they made off with a 13-4 victory. The result was nothing new for the Dragons, who have now won nine matches by six runs or more so far this season.
Cheyenne Hayes made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out 18 batters over seven innings while giving up four earned runs off four hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Abigail Roberts was incredible, going 3-for-5 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2024. Adelyn Karstensen was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Grant Park kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
