Softball Recap: Harford Tech Comes Up Short

Harford Tech suffered their closest defeat since May 1, 2024 on Monday. They fell just short of the North East Indians by a score of 2-0. The loss continues a trend for the Cobras in their meetings with the Indians: they've now lost five in a row.

Lyric Strong made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

Harford Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for North East, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Harford Tech will face off against Perryville at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. North East does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
