Basketball Recap: East Knox Takes a Loss

East Knox was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 66-42 to the Centerburg Trojans. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 69-39 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

East Knox's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Centerburg, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Knox will venture away from home to square off against Ridgedale at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Centerburg, they will be taking part in a tournament against Parkway at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Centerburg knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Parkway likes a good challenge.
