Soccer Game Preview: Smith County vs. Wilson Central

The Smith County Owls will head out to take on the Wilson Central Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Smith County is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Smith County's offense. They fell 2-0 to DeKalb County on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that the Owls have lost by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, Wilson Central also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Stewarts Creek on Tuesday, falling 4-0.

Wilson Central now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Smith County, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Smith County suffered a grim 4-0 defeat to Wilson Central in their previous meeting back in February of 2016. Can Smith County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
