Football Recap: Freeport Takes a Loss

Freeport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 43-8 loss at the hands of Syosset. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Freeport's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Syosset, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Freeport will be playing in front of their home fans against Farmingdale on Saturday. The Red Devils will need to watch out since the Dalers have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Syosset, they will venture away from home to square off against Uniondale on Saturday.
