Football Recap: Fort Payne Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Fort Payne lost against Guntersville back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Fort Payne took a 21-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of Guntersville.

Fort Payne's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Guntersville, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Fort Payne will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Southside at 7:00 p.m. on September 12. As for Guntersville, they are taking a road trip to take on Brewer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Wildcats' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
