Peyton Stewart Game Report: vs Wilder

Peyton Stewart put up the most strikeouts she's had since back in May of 2024 on Monday. She struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits. She was up against Wilder and has quite the history against that squad, as she also had a great game the last time she faced them back in April of 2024. Stewart has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Stewart and Glenns Ferry will face off against Idaho City at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Pilots got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Wildcats thanks in part to Stewart: she scored four runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
