Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Archbishop Mitty proved: they limited Menlo-Atherton to a paltry one yards per carry. The team can thank Caden Eagleson for the heroic effort on defense: he. Archbishop Mitty didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 6.6.

St. Ignatius College Preparatory didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Archbishop Mitty in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, but they still walked away with a 24-19 victory. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Monarchs' Alec Grimaldo, who picked up 65 receiving yards and one score, and also punched in one TD on the ground. Now that he won't be playing on Friday, will it be easier for the Wildcats to walk away with another win? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
