Recap: Jacksboro Tigers vs. Henrietta Bearcats
The Jacksboro Tigers were the 69-50 winner over the Henrietta Bearcats when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Jacksboro fell just short of Henrietta by a score of 49-47. Jacksboro just can't catch a break and has now endured three losses in a row.
Despite the loss, Jacksboro still got an impressive performance from Lando Belcher, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. It was the first time this season that Belcher pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Cannon Valenzuela, who scored 13 points.
Jacksboro has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season. As for Henrietta, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-22.
Jacksboro will take on City View at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. City View is coming into the contest with three straight victories on the road, so Jacksboro is out to stop a team with plenty of momentum. Henrietta does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
