Basketball Game Preview: Ridge Community Bolts vs. Frostproof Bulldogs + Official Tickets

The Ridge Community Bolts will head out to challenge the Frostproof Bulldogs at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ridge Community knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Frostproof likes a good challenge.

If Ridge Community beats Frostproof with 65 points on Tuesday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. The Bolts beat Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate on Saturday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 65-51. While the Bolts didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Meanwhile, in Tuesday's Canine Competition, Frostproof came out on top. They enjoyed a cozy 66-51 win over Four Corners on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Ridge Community better keep an eye on Mekhi Guillaume. He was instrumental in Frostproof's win, shooting 69% from the field to rack up 36 points in addition to six assists and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Carson Taylor, who posted 14 points and three steals.

Ridge Community's record now sits at 5-0. As for Frostproof, their record is now 2-0.

Everything went Ridge Community's way against Frostproof in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, as Ridge Community made off with an 83-63 victory. Will the Bolts repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
