Soccer Recap: Lambert Extends Road Winning Streak to Three

Lambert proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by three) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They never let Denmark get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. This was payback for the Longhorns, who suffered a 1-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Lambert pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three games. As for Denmark, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lambert will challenge St. Pius X Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lambert's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so St. Pius X Catholic's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Denmark, they will face off against Dunwoody at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
