Volleyball Recap: Ridgeline's Loss Ends Eight-Game Winning Streak on the Road

After flying high against Mountain Crest on Tuesday, Ridgeline came back down to earth. The Riverhawks lost 3-0 to the Green Canyon Wolves on Wednesday. The Riverhawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wolves earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

While Ridgeline was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Green Canyon's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-15, 25-20.

Ridgeline's offense was headlined by Lili Madsen and Wren Bingham, who picked up eight kills apiece. They were helped by Sophie Larsen and Teagan Sabillon, who contributed ten assists each.

Among those leading the charge was Jaylee Blotter, who had seven digs and two aces.

Ridgeline's loss ended an eight-match streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 19-8. As for Green Canyon, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-6.

Ridgeline does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Green Canyon, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Mountain Crest on the 16th.
