Raceland is ranked highly in their home state and on Thursday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Notre Dame. The Rams fell just short of the Titans by a score of 5-4. The Rams' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Lily Poplin made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs.

Raceland's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Notre Dame, the win keeps they at an undefeated 8-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Raceland will venture away from home to challenge Lewis County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
