Basketball Recap: Five Straight Road Wins for Hopkinton

Hopkinton won the last time they faced Dover-Sherborn and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Hopkinton Hillers walked away with a 55-47 win over the Dover-Sherborn Raiders. Given the Hillers' advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 26th, while the Raiders are ranked 137th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Hopkinton pushed their record up to 7-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.4 points per game. As for Dover-Sherborn, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hopkinton will venture away from home to face off against Norwood at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dover-Sherborn, they will head out to square off against Millis at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
