Softball Recap: Guilford Takes a Loss

Rockford Auburn hit Guilford with a five-run third inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Vikings fell just short of the Knights by a score of 7-5. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Amiyah Wyrick was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two triples, two runs, and one stolen base.

Guilford's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Rockford Auburn, they pushed their record up to 12-6 with the victory, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.
