Bishop Kelly's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Vallivue Falcons, sneaking past 3-2. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Bishop Kelly was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 25-14, 24-26, 25-23, 15-6.

Annie Raeber paced Bishop Kelly's offense, picking up 12 kills. Raeber got some help from Kaitlyn Neil and her 31 assists. Neil was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Despite the defeat, Vallivue saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Avery Daniel had 15 digs and ten assists. Those 15 digs set a new season-high mark for Daniel. Sophia Kassotis was another key player, getting nine digs and five aces.

Bishop Kelly's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Vallivue, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Bishop Kelly wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Nampa on the 16th. As for Vallivue, they have also already played their next game, a 3-2 defeat against Columbia on the 16th.
