Despite the defeat, Cuba had strong showings from Cara Toledo, who scored nine points along with four steals, and Liliana Maestas, who scored eight points along with two steals.

Mariella Ruiz had a dynamite game for St. Michael's, dropping a triple-double on 16 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ruiz has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Mia Duran, who scored 15 points.

Cuba's loss dropped their record down to 15-14. As for St. Michael's, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 14-11.
