Volleyball Recap: Scotts Valley Comes Up Short

Scotts Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Harbor Pirates. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

While Scotts Valley ultimately came up short, they really made Harbor work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 27-25, 24-26, 25-17.

Scotts Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-20. As for Harbor, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Scotts Valley is set to face off against their familiar foe San Lorenzo Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Harbor will challenge rival Santa Cruz at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
