It was a good run, but Phoenix unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 64-45 bruising from the Skaneateles Lakers. The contest marked the Firebirds' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Phoenix's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-3. As for Skaneateles, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Phoenix will challenge Homer at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Skaneateles, they will take on Institute of Tech at 6:30 p.m. on January 24th.
