Volleyball Recap: Manatee's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Manatee waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Alonso Ravens. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hurricanes also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2015.

The win got Manatee back to even at 4-4. As for Alonso, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 4-4.

Manatee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Saint Stephen's Episcopal on the 13th. As for Alonso, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Delphi Academy on the 13th.
