Virgin Valley piles up the points against Cristo Rey St. Viator

The Virgin Valley Bulldogs posted their biggest win since November 30, 2023 on Friday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 79-40 victory over Cristo Rey St. Viator. With Virgin Valley ahead 55-17 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Virgin Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cameron Wright, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds. Elian Pinto was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Virgin Valley and bumps their season record up to 10-8. As for Cristo Rey St. Viator, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Virgin Valley will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Moapa Valley at 6:30 p.m. Hopefully Moapa Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Friday. Cristo Rey St. Viator will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Eldorado at 6:30 p.m. on January 30th.
