Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Emanuel County Institute). They took down the Claxton Tigers 57-39 on Wednesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 42-39 back in December of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Claxton lost, don't look at Jayda Jordan. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 25 points and 15 rebounds. That was a full 64.1% of Claxton's points, marking the 17th time in a row she's posted more than a third of the team's points.
