Basketball Recap: Standing Bear Piles Up the Points Against Nebraska City

On Wednesday, the Standing Bear Grizzlies were fully in charge, breezing past the Nebraska City Pioneers 76-47.

Parker Fellers had an outrageously good game as he shot 69% from the field to rack up 20 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in field goal percentage. Paul Hart was another key player, going 5-for-11 on his way to 12 points and eight rebounds.

Standing Bear smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. They are 2-1 when they hit their own glass that hard.

Nebraska City lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Brayden Earll, who posted eight points and six boards. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Sam Rovetto, who shot 50% from the field en route to 13 points.

Standing Bear's victory bumped their record up to 6-15. As for Nebraska City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-19.

Standing Bear has already played their next matchup, an 83-41 defeat against Norris on the 27th. Nebraska City does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
