Volleyball Recap: Tri-Center Comes Up Short

Tri-Center was the 2-0 winner over Maryville when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans fell 2-0 to the Spoofhounds on Saturday. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Among those leading the charge was Evelyn Branner, who had three digs and three aces. Those three aces gave her a new career-high. Claire Walter also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Tri-Center's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Maryville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Tri-Center will take on Audubon at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Maryville, they have already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against West Monona on the 6th.
