Basketball Recap: Sioux Center Takes a Loss

Sioux Center lost against MOC-Floyd Valley back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Sioux Center Warriors fell 63-54 to the MOC-Floyd Valley Dutchmen. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 130th, while the Dutchmen are ranked 32nd).

Sioux Center has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-13 record this season. The victory was the seventh in a row for MOC-Floyd Valley, bringing their record for this year to 21-4.

As of now, neither Sioux Center nor MOC-Floyd Valley have any future games scheduled.
