Commerce lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Hampden Charter School of Science, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Wednesday's   game. The Red Raiders were the clear victors by  an  18-3 margin over Hampden Charter School of Science on Wednesday. The  contest marked the Red Raiders' most dominant  victory of the  season.
 Adrianna Medina made a big impact no matter where she played. She  tossed five innings while giving up  three earned runs off   seven  hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances with one  stolen base and two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Vanessa Rios was a standout: she got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with four  stolen bases, three  runs,  and two  RBI. She is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last five games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Janaya Williams, who  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  stolen base.
 Commerce  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .711. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Commerce's record is now 6-9. As for Hampden Charter School of Science,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-7.
 Coming up, Commerce will challenge Springfield Renaissance at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Hampden Charter School of Science, they will welcome Southwick Regional  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
