Softball Recap: Chesapeake Takes a Loss

After flying high against New Town last Thursday, Chesapeake came back down to earth. The Bay Hawks came up short against the Patapsco Patriots on Tuesday, falling 21-11. The Bay Hawks were not able to make up for their defeat to the Patriots from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Chesapeake now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Patapsco, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chesapeake will welcome Woodlawn at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Patapsco, they will face off against Parkville at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Patriots are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
