Tipton-Rosemark Academy is 9-1 against Millington Central since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. Tipton-Rosemark Academy's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They didn't even let University School of Jackson on the board, marking the Rebels' second-straight 1-0 shutout. The Rebels haven't had any issues with the Bruins recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Not much got past Haydn Davis, who gave up just two hits and racked up seven Ks to keep University School of Jackson off the board. Davis has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Tipton-Rosemark Academy's win was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Trace Scott, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Millington Central). They put the hurt on Fayette Ware with a sharp 18-7 victory on Tuesday. That's two games straight that the Trojans have won by exactly 11 runs.

Millington Central has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-21 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Tipton-Rosemark Academy, their record is now 16-12.

Tipton-Rosemark Academy took their victory against Millington Central in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 23-12 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rebels since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
