Baseball Recap: Mildred Falls Short of Harleton in the Playoffs

Mildred and Harleton squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Mildred had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 4-2. The Eagles' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Mildred's loss dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Harleton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.

Mildred does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Harleton, they will take on Alba-Golden on Thursday.
