Columbia Central entered their tilt with Battle Creek on Saturday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Grizzlies by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Columbia Central easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-18.

Anne Wolaver paced Columbia Central's offense, picking up eight kills. Wolaver got some help from Allie Hill and her 16 assists. Wolaver was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Columbia Central's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Battle Creek, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.
